Just got new treads!

Had a blow out the other day, and I figured that as long as I need to replace one tire, I might as well replace all of them since my old tires are the crap.
Ordered some Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's from tires.com. Got a great deal on them too. Z-rated of course and the size is 275/40/17 all around. The crap about 275's rubbing is just that. I went to full lock a few times just to see if they would scrub and they don't at all.
The traction and ride comfort is 1,000,000,000x better than the old ones. Haven't seen yet how they do in rain tho.
Now I just need a stall converter and I'm set.

Very cool...I really need to replace the bald pieces of rubber I'm driving on at the moment. I can spin through 1st and 2nd on a dry road with no problem at the moment, that's never a good thing. The rain is to say the least, interesting.

Yeah the rain is what's been the worst for me. I almost had no traction just from a regular start, get spunky and it was sideways city. Should be worlds better now.

my tires are about to dangerous to drive in the rain... im hoping to squeeze 4 more months out of them before I get another set...

yeah my tires are well, quite bald right now...thank god new tires should be on by the end of the week (with my new rims hehehe)

That is the exact same for me... bald tires, but rims/tires are coming in this week.

I see that toyota commercial with free tires for life... yea right they would boot me out the door very fast if ford did that.

yea reliability.. when you only make 100hp its pretty darn hard to break anything.

lol... I got the new car with new tires on it... and since I'm not keen on breaking a car I just got, and just started to learn how to drive a manual... the tires still look new.
