Convertible top in bad shape...

Hey. I've got a 1997 convertible and my top is in DIRE need of replacement (It is now 80% original material and 20% silicone patches lol). I've got holes, leaks and all, not to mention it looks like crap. I don't know diddly-squat about the tops and replacing it and such, so can anyone fill me in on the basics and/or more? I have the same problem with my 94 vert. The previous owner had already glued the back glass in once, and it's falling out again.. thank goodness she's not my daily driver.. cause that thing is a PITA in the rain... ugh.

I'll stick around to see what everyone says and if I can help out.

They're def not cheap...but it sounds like you have no other choice. If it's anything like aidan's, you def need a new one, esp if the car is your dd.
