its not to bad to remove, it will look odd painted the same color as the car. if its faded... buy a new one and this time take care of it same with wiper arms. Ive seen an orange car with it painted orange looked very odd.

If you want to wait a little bit I'm looking to have a product out that will look better and last longer than the factory plastic piece in the next month or so.

If you paint it at all, I would paint it a nice flat black, possibly a low gloss black. I just wouldn't do the body color thing on it.

my red car's cowl was more faded than my black 01 v6 was, heck the entire 01 v6 was in better shape really lol. I have pulled mine back though to a near new state on the black trim and cowl... it wont get any worse at least.

windshield wiper arms are ugly as sin. If I did not live where it rains I would take them off and put some bullet caps on them

Shit, it hasn't rained here worth mentioning in the past 3 weeks. I'm beginning to believe there is no such thing as rain.

Ive removed mine, I keep them in the hatch in the spare tire well since its empty just incase it does decide to rain. Looks 10x better looking out from the inside aswell without them in your face. Now I just need some caps but the car aint goin anywhere right now.

Actually, this one's pretty straight. They're usually a little "fruitier" than this.
