Help Needed On Aftermarket Wheels on 1997 Stang

I am extreme info on wheels I have fount.




I am definately looking for aftermarket wheels for my stang. Not because they are cheapre but because I want something diffrent then everyone car around here. I fount several wheels but need help knowing if they will fit or not.

Now I know the average offset for a mustang is like 24 or 26 mm but when I got to tire rack or tire.com and put in my car they say some wheels with 35 mm offset will fit.

I fount a website called wheelplanet.com that has wheels that i liek alot and my brother ordered a pair liek a year from their and they have done good. But i need to know if the offset sitiuation on my car will work.


What will a a 18x8.5 wheel have to have in order to not rub or stick out more than a inch of wheel well.

tell me the same for 18 x 8 and 18 x 7.5

I knwo they are 5.4.5 bolt pattern but shoudl I look for anything else.

not sure on the offsets, but if theyre tucked in too far you can always get some wheel spacers
