All tires need to be replaced.
3 have hardly any tred left, and the one that I just got already has a nail in it.
sweeeeeeeet......
well the stock ford tires suck ass anyway. Any recommendations? And if anyone wants you could throw this to the Tire section of the forum, I don't mind :P

I went through 2 sets of stockers before 50k. Put on some toyo tpt's for the last 26k, they're bald now...definitely better than the badyears.

nitto DRs on your rears.. will last about 12-13k miles before you have issues with them in the rain.. I could punch it in the '02 in the rain.. and they'd hook

I recommend toyo's, they're a little pricey. But I did drag racing, autoxing and a few burnouts here and there on them. The only downside is..once they're gone, they're gone, no traction at all. They are 400 treadwear rated and M+S rated.

i dont know how you go though tires so fast unless they are POS tires. My yokahomas have nearly 40k if not 40k on them and my kumo (shutter) previous tires had nearly 40k before I replaced them... and the ones before that got nearly 50k...

A part of me wants to get the Rim+Tire special this guy has on eBay, and he's sold a lot of them at great prices and he's highly recommended. But I dunno if I should or not.

You don't autox and probably aren't quite as spirited as I am on the street. Driving styles make a huge difference. Hence the reason I just bought some 20 dollar tires for the 16's and going big bucks on the 18's. 16's for the track, 18's for looks.

look at the wheel/tire article its all listed. go cheap on stock small tires its pointless to try to make a narrow tire perform good.

yeah... the GT enjoys 9" wide rims... I'm sure a 10"-10.5" rear rim would work out very well in the v-6... to keep you from spinning tires and such. Believe it or not, if I'm going in a straight line... the GT doesn't like peeling them out for all that long... it just seems to help pull right out of it... I love it.

It's the whole 100 dollars for mounting and balancing and 100 bucks for alignment holding me back.
