coolant leak inside car

i have an 02 gt, today i was takin a turn on to the road i live on and my feet got wet... i look and its coolant, there was coolant coming out of the heating ducts by my feet ... is this any common problem, im thinking maybe a leaking heater core.... any ideas? thanks in advance for any help or suggestions



well i dropped my car off at the dealership sat. and they got it apart and there was a hole in the heater core... they ordered a new one and i will have it back tomorrow

You are thinking correctly. Your heater core needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, it's not the most fun job in the world because it requires nearly the whole dash to be removed.

well i just picked up the car a couple weeks ago and they are going to replace it for free

Yeah, kind of suprising, but also suprising that it went bad, that's not a very common problem on the new edge stangs

i got it back about a week ago and no problems so far... but i just ordered some new gears... 410's
