v6 procharger on a 5.0? can it be done?

Found a cheap procharger p1-sc blower but its for a 99-04 v6. It looks like with a little modification to the brackets, it could install in the area that my smog pump used to be. The bracket wouldnt be hard to make... think its possible? Any difference in the kits?

I would assume, that with any supercharger kit, the main thing is that the belt lines up right. As long as you can get that right and have custom tubing I don't see why it wouldn't work.

That's what I'm thinking~
Like with turbo's really any turbo will work on any car, the real problem is whether it will perform well enough to be of any benefit. IE: not too small or too big.
But I dont see a problem, you would have to make some piping or customize the supplied piping and find the appropriate belt for the location you end up mounting it too. They like to slip belts too if they aren't dead on sized~

I would do it right and get the kit made for the car ... cutting corners may wind up biting you in the butt and costing you more in the end via money and issues.

yeah, btw... it wont work. the v6 blower is reverse rotation, mines standard
