Series Finale just ended
makes me sad one of the few shows on TV that shows what real american ingenuity and drive is all about, is over. taking noting and making something totally different has been my monday nights since high school, and now its over.
makes me wonder what Jesse James has up his sleeve now. hoping hell get back to making badass bikes, though im guessing hes gonna drop out of the limelight after marrying Sandra Bullock. now if only Jesse would team up with Chip Foose and just have a show called "Fabrication 101" where they just make shit and show how things are done(hell, theres enough wood building programs on PBS like This Old House and that one with the norm abrem guy) would be sick as hell.

Yeah they should do something like "This Old 'Rod". Where they just fix up something straight from a junkyard that's been rusted out completely.

Have you seen wrecks to riches on tlc? That is exactly what this guy's shop does and then he enters them into auctions.

He doesnt like being famous, he's said it in countless interviews.
He said in motorcycle mania 3 i believe that his last bike was going to be that copper one cause people wont let him work. lol.

dang.. I missed something. I didn't know the series was ending..
but I can't blame him.. like ^ said about him being famous... if people wouldn't let me work for bugging me about being a celebrity all the time, that would definitely take part of the fun out of it..

Yea i know, appearantly its like a freak show over at his shop thesedays. People come and stand outside for hours for himt o come out and sign autographs. How do they expect him to get a days work in? Its kinda funny, cause now he has all the money in the world and he still wants to work.
But if i was as talented as him id want to keep building insane shit too. hah.

thats when you know you love your work, when money doesnt matter and youd still do it no matter what.
though i can believe it. if i had all the money in the world, id open up a shop just so i could work on cars all day. having the funds would be sweet cause the possibilities would be endless, but you can still do alot for cheap if youre good at it.
