single port to split port conversion

Do I need to do a single port to split port conversion?

you wont gain much tq at all, they pretty much make the same. I would port those heads/intakes and get a custom cap before I put them on my car though so you get a nice increase. That being said you can get just as much power from staying single port (if the heads/cam/intakes are custom/ported right. Actually you would get a good bit more hp/tq than a stock setup 99-04 193hp/225tq motor (what your looking at with a split port conversion)

you will need to do something about the returnless/return fuel system as that is different on the single vs split port setup.

You will get 220-230hp/235-245tq + N/A single port with a good port/polish and a nice cam grind~ vs 190hp/225tq on the dual port. Might cost a bit more though~
