they will work but I would upgrade to a better set of speakers, they also are not tweeters. At least I dont think they are by the strict definition of what a tweeter is.

^werd, they are more of mid-range speakers at least that would be my best way or describing them
i would pick up a nice set of 5x7 components if you really want componets or just get a nice set of 2 or 3 way 5x7's

Here is detailed info on the mach 460.
Mach 460 Information
It is a midrange sized tweeter. The range extends alot lower than say a tweeter from a component set.
My vert mach 460 sounds like ass, it will be torn out as soon as I can afford it.

I agree that the mach 460 system in my 03 vert does not sound amazing but really... I dont listen to it enough to care that much. I used to be into that phase but I have grown up and realize I cant have two money pics... so audio went lol.
