There was a post back in april which broke the news
limited production to 500 units
A new Saleen 302 cid V-8, 3-valve engine. This engine produces a whopping 370 horsepower at 6000 RPM, and with 370 ft-lb of torque at 4000 RPM
2007 Saleen 302 Parnelli Jones Limited Edition Mustang
Really a nice looking stang

finally, a decently high HP motor without a blower from ford. and its not even really fords motor maybe steve saleen should be in charge of making the motors lol. 6k redline, 302, but still ohc almost everything I could wish for
why not just make it 4v though?

That car is gorgeous!!
Dude, you can fit a 302 or 351 in a new edge with enough room to sit inside the engine bay and work on it, lol

So they did decide to make it, eh? I remember seeing this thing a few months ago, but at the time it was just something they were playing around with.
Too bad they're only makign 500 of them

I thought it was getting Fords 5.0 Cammer as an engine? I thought I read that somewhere anyhow. Could be wrong though.
This seems to be the year for Parnelli anyhow. Wrecks to Riches did a Parnelli throwback car...now saleen is....I wonder what other model car he drove that they will come out with next.
