squeaky clutch

so with my car turned off and pushing on the clutch pedal i hear a good squeak. sounds like the kind of squeak when something needs wd-40. doesn't matter if it's in neutral or first but i just noticed it today. doesn't seem to make any noises when i'm driving around town.
is there anything i should look out for?
btw it's a 99 cobra.

It's probably your clutch cable about to give out. Mine used to do the same thing and eventually the cable snapped part of the way. You'll definitely know when this happens.
