This forum is dead. Which is a bummer 'cause I really like autocross and it'd be fun to swap driving tips and stuff. Anybody? Anybody at all?

T-loc, Custom CAI, Half-shafted throttle body, Steeda Quick Release Clutch Quadrant w/ Firewall adjuster and adjustable clutch cable, ASP-underdrive pulley, GT rear swaybar, GT Quad Shocks, Full MM Coilover conversion w/ "aggressive springs," 17" Grey Torque Thrust wheels, FMS Aluminum driveshaft & Tri-Ax Shorthrow shifter. SSM ported intakes and a FLEX 1/2 spacer, RPM ported heads and a 207 cam. SCT chip.

I haven't had the time this summer or the tires. Once I get some stuff settling down I'm gonna start hitting it again. I have one coming up next month I might make, and one in september I know I'm running at.

i think it would be a blast... but i never hear of anything in my area. plus, i need to redo my suspension as well, but that should be happening shortly.

I just dont have the money for the tires and what not... wish I did. If I had the money, Id do open track stuff out in topeka though

I would love to but there is no local track and I wouldnt dare do it on my daily driver.

We use parking lots and air force bases over here lol. Just set it up that morning and go for it.

I just bought a car for this purpose , a 94 stang with the 3.8 . Someone did the springs and sway bars already and it has a k&n filter , duel exaust without cats, car sounds good motor seems solid ,car handles great!
BUT, I have a big problem ,
I have a major hesitation off idle ,
I have changed plugs and oil ( things I do when I buy a used car anyway)
cleaned the mas then swapped it with another ( a buddy owns a wrecking yard)
swaped the maf
swaped the air idle dealy
swapped plug wires
checked base timing (dead on )
swapped coil pack
cleaned throtle body
It sure feels like timing and I wonder if someone has installed a cam or timing cain and installed it one tooth out ( as a mechanic i have seen it done before) 
any suggestions befor I tear it apart? |
