I can't see that happening any time soon. Hell, dealers around here wouldn't let you test drive a mere 05 gt for a number of months after their release. |

I bet I could arrange it with the guy who sold me my car... but chances are they will all be inside and already sold aka non drivable

Just tell the dealer that the only way you will consider paying the 20k markup they are asking is if you get to take the car for a test drive before anything else. Then say the car sucked and leave.  |

I test drove the first 05 gt to hit the lot here...I guess all dealerships are different. I keep waiting for an 03/04 cobra to get traded in, I'm gonna test drive the hell out of it.

A dealer here had an 03 on the lot...then someone about killed a salesman (read: drove it like they stole it) in it so now there are no more 03 cobra test drives at that dealer. lol |

you should have to sign an agreement that you wont act like a tool and if you do ect happends. They should use the word tool in it.

Once you test drive the car, you are on their insurance legally. So any accident that happens, you are not liable for any damages. They just don't tell you any of those little details. Hell, most dealerships say you have to be 21 to test drive...I'm not 21 yet and I've driven several V8 cars, it's all about how you act. I just act like I'm ready to buy, right now, and they're always willing to let that little part wave. I must say though, the salesman did ride with me in the 05, first and only time that's ever happened.
