lol they could put "We know its a rip off, we know its a massive rip off but we dont care!" and it would still sell...
74k for a 45k car... talk about retarded if you pay that when in six months you can have one for msrp easy if not under.

No, that wouldn't fall in with the #5 reason to buy from them:
 |
 |
 |
Quote:
Reason 5: Internet Only Dealership
Texas Toys is an internet- only wholesale warehouse. We solely sell cars online to keep overheads at their absolute lowest. This gives us the ability to offer our cost- conscious clients the fairest prices to be found anywhere on pristine cars! Do you want to absorb the costs of expensive marble floors, cappuccino machines, and fancy freeway frontage locations?

I mean, basically 2 x MSRP...that is a real steal in any sane person's book.

lol... it is a far cry from being able to take on a z06 in any form or fashion.... it should have been but ... it has enough trouble taking on the regular C6 lol.

It could with 2 400 pound guys in the Z06 and the ebrake halfway on...
Or with a TT kit on the GT500....
Or the GT500 running down a 45* hill with the vette going up a 45* hill....
Hey...it could happen.

4,000 pounds of fury. You do get more for your money in the GT500 than a Z06 (pound for pound....)

You would have to be crazy to buy one of these cars out of the gate. SVT/Ford has NOT had a good track record the last few performance cars they made:
1999 Cobra - IRS and HP ratings
2000 Cobra - Cancelled
2001 Cobra STILL IRS
2003 Cobra - List of quirks as long as your arm
Ford GT - Recalled with a DO NOT DRIVE mandate.
I think I would wait for the GT500.V2 for price savings AND quality.
