This is how it happened.
I was working at the summer job I have as a camp councilor at the elementary school I used to go to when I was a kid. We were playing socco aka dodgeball and one team didn't have a goalie by the middle of the game somehow. So I went over to be goalie, as soon as I got there a ball flew by on my left side and I had to run over and get it.
I ran about 20 ft to get it, once I got it, another ball was rolling by me pretty quickly. I knew if I let that ball get too far ahead I'll have to eventually walk across campus to get it. So I ran after that ball after I picked up the first one. As I was running full speed to get it, I didn't notice the cement I was running towards was becoming slanted. So my feet tripped over themselves due to the misjudgement of balance and I fell forward.
Imagine.. sliding on concrete at full speed. So now I've got road rash on my arm, my wrist, my knees, and my right hand.
These were all taken on day 1, Monday, when it happened.
This morning I went to the hospital because my knee injuries were healing better than my arm! Which was really messed up because I've been babying my arm, but not my knee.
I got the wounds patched up and I'm going to the doctor's tomorrow morning to have them checked out. But I started examining my bandages.. they looked really gross.
Like I could see puss and stuff had leaked and soaked thru a bit. So.. I took the dressings off, and I found a long flab of dead skin on my wrist and on my arm. So.. I had to tear off the dead skin.. it was so horribly gross.. I nearly puked. My bro ran over to get more bandages and crap for me because I began bleeding like crazy after I did that.
Fuck people.. it was so gross.
