Well I noticed it once or twice Friday, and then a lot Saturday after it had been driven for a while, and then a lot today.
It misses about every 10 seconds at idle in gear, but not in park or neutral. This is accompanied by a very slight drop in rpm's.
It lugs or lurches slightly under easy acceleration.
Then in WOT, when the turbo is boosting, it sounds different. It makes a wierd fluttering sort of noise, and the the car seems to jump very very slightly in accordance with the fluttering, but there does not seem to be any loss in power or if there is it is not noticable.
I purchased a tank of gas on the way to Brent's last night, and have been wondering if maybe it was some bad gas, but it did it slightly the day before on a 1/4 tank. To cover this base, I have added in some Lucas Fuel system cleaner and some Heat to remove any water that might be in the tank. It has not been long enough yet to know if this fixed it yet as I am still above a half a tank. At first I was thinking it was due to all the heat in the atmosphere added to the turbo heat, but it does it at night, in the morning, etc...
Could it be water in the gas, just plain bad gas, a fouled plug because of my rich ass tune, fuel filter? Also, the air filter has a tear where it it is held down by the hose clamp....could that "air leak" be causing it? I doubt it but maybeish...
I want to see how it does with these fuel additives first before I go any deaper, but any help or insite would be greatly appreciated.

Well I checked them the other day and they were not fouled.
I was thinking it was my plug wires, but I wnet ahead and got new plugs just in case and the plugs alone completely fixed it. ??
Oh well.

Here is what you did not probably notice which is very common. When you look at a plug look carefully at the area where the plug threads end that will be sticking into the combustion chamber. Look closely for any liile bumps or imperfections that are raised. What happen is the spark will actually jump across at that tiny imperfection not every time but maybe every other time and creat a missfire. it can rob you of 10 to 25 HP no a normal N/A motoer which means maybe up to 50hp on your car

Manufacturing blemishes and defects. They are not suppose to get past Quality Control but they do more than they will admit. Especially since they are probably made in Mexico or who knows where else.

They are NGK V-Power's so IDK...
They worked fine for about 3k...then just went to crap. I may be wrong but I suspect one of them just randomly went bad inside and was not making sufficient contact....

But that is typical as the pug gets some miles on it some buildup begins to accumulate on the electrode and the shits starts jumping off on the raised area

Can that build up be caused by his tune being too rich? it would suck to have to replace them every 3k miles if the underlying problem is his tune.

Precisely.
That's why I'm going to Cullman to have it redone. Yeah verily, this very week even.
