it depends on how much you want to lower your car. if your not looking for much of a drop and dont want to spend a lot, ford springs are probably the best way to go.

a lot of people recommend getting ford c springs, which will lower your car 1 inch, give or take a little and stiffen up your suspension a tad. i think it is worth it, since they only cost a little over 100 dollars. if you drop your car a lot more than that, it may make for a much rougher ride.

I really like the look of the Ford C-springs on the 99-04 cars. They give it a nice stance and the ride is comfortable.
The other springs that I really like and highly recommend are H&R Sport or Super Sport springs. They give a little more of a drop than the Ford springs without a harsh ride, but they list for $219-229 on Maximim Motorsport's site.

expect 1.1 inches with the ford c springs, depending on where they come from you may have to cut the rear dead coil, some are already cut. For the price you cant beat the performance and look upgrade.

yeah ill think ill go with the ford springs bc i see the the h&r's drop the ride almost a 1/2 inch more and as i see the other rides with the ford springs, they look pretty good to me. my car just looks like a truck right now.
any one know how much a shop usually charges for spring install?
