I was wondering if anyone nows why Ford put 2 different engines that run the same in the GT, and make it where you can't interchange many parts. That seems kind of dumb. It seems to me that the Windsor would be the better engine to modify since it uses 8 bolts on the flywheel instead of 6 for the Romeo, and the OEM cams on the Romeo use non-removable cam spockets while the Windsors cam sprockets can be removed. The other differences that I know of (front engine cover bolt size, number of bolts in the valve covers, and the different caps used to secure the cams) doesn't seem like they would be as big of deal, but I still prefer the Windsor in these areas. I don't know I could be wrong, the Romeo might be better than the Windsor or maybe their equally good. If anyone know please reply. Also can you put a 11" Cobra clutch in a Windsor with a T-45, I don't know.
