My goal is to get to 300 to 400 hps. I got a long way to go but this is my first car and plan on keeping it. I wanna get everything done in a 10 yr range. I eventually wanna bore it to a 4.2 change heads/cam, t-lok w/ 4.10 gears, true duals, shift kit, suspension upgrades, computer, tb. I wanna know how to plan it out. Will my 7.5" differential handle this hp? I just don't want to add 4.10 / t-lok then have to swap to a 8.8". About the internals, doing the entire job all at once I imagine would be over 3k by the time I get to it. I think I'd wanna break it down maybe into 2 phases, what sounds reasonable? I'm sure suspension is the one thing where I can't go wrong as I will keep it as long as I keep the car and no swapping is needed. I just need to make sure I get the right stuff the first time.

I would just get a 8.8 rear end with 4.10's. It is not much more expensive than building a 7.5
Do the internals on the engine at the same time as the heads and intake to save some money.

Yeah well I'm poor. I don't plan on spending my last penny on the car.Anyways I love the idea of the Twin-Turbo and really impressed w/ the numbers. I'm going to have to ask aside from the turbo kit, what else will I need to modify to make compatible w/ the kit? About the axle, can my axle withstand turbo power? I'd like to avoid swapping it.

If you are on street tires ou rear end is fine, but with drag radials or slicks upgrade the axle.

Most people who go blown swap in an 8.8
Come on, if your going to build a 4.2, and do all the work involved in installing a turbo kit, the rear end will be nothing. You'll have to do work on your 7.5 to handle the power anyway. Ford puts the 8.8 in gt's and cobras and think about the power they make...the 7.5 can still be beefed up for the powa, but i'd go with the 8.8..jmo

Lol.
Dude you have to know SpectorV. He wasn't being a dick. He looks at the big picture. If you are willing to invest 10 years into having a fast car, than, technically, you would probably be better off spending money on a education, to have a better job and end up bying something that will outperform whatever you do to the V6. That's all he meant.

I wasnt being an ass. I would just think about what I was getting into and what the results would be in the end. You may find that after 10 years have passed you wished you had waited. You may also find that that you would have not had it any other way. I just wanted to display another option for you to consider. I would sit down and think over the course of a week or two what you really want out of a car and what will make you happy, not just what you have the ability to do with the current means at your disposal. Keep this with in the realm of reality as well and come up with something you can be happy with and do it regardless if it is moding now or waiting until later.
Just do not let impatience blind you. Any money you invest in your car is gone, you cant get it back and a car is not a sound investment as they lose value very very fast. That being said you have to do it due to you love it, not that you ever expect to get anything out of it other than the joy it brings.

If he made long detailed posts all the time his count would be much lower!
Really tho, it's good advice for a 10 year time frame. Even having a low paying
job and putting 100% into your car, you would be done sooner than 10 yers likely...
With "Mo Money" you can do it in less time.

Didn't wanna get into this cuz that's not what this site is for, but since you guys never dropped it gotta say that I do have an education from Michigan State and a branch for Univ. of Tex and unless you think 45k/yr is low then yeah I have a low paying job. Damn. About the ten yrs that was only to get the long time frame idea across. I'm thinking about going w/ the suggested turbo path, I like it.

Why would you even think of taking 10 years to mod something, by the time the 10 years are up your mods will end up being replaced...just stupid...
