K, rite now i have a 2003 v6 automatic with dual flowmasters and the K&N FIPK II kit (for the time being). I was always told that pulling the catalytic converters would free up horsepower and help my gas mileage... is this true? Also i was told the xpipe mite contribute a little bit to performance, but mainly to sound. What would my car sound like without the Cats (hoping not ricy) and wat are the recomendations. RIte now im looking at an offroad xpipe without cats... any input would be appreciated. THanx
The car will idle louder, and up top will have a bit of a rice sound to it. Along with that, if you ever sit in traffic very long, you'll get sick of not having any cats real fast. Just ask brent about that one lol. And about the gains, there will be minimal gains going with x pipe or with no cats.

you can actually move some power in the powerband... dont do it. It sounds like CRAP.
