Teh legendary 3.9 owned by the one and only 04stang - Automatic, UDP, True Dual Exhuast, CAI, and Tune....complete with 300 lb passenger
vs.
2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V - 6 speed, injectors, fuel rails, and other useless mods....2900lbs plus driver, no passenger
From a dig, it was ugly. Kyle completely ate his lunch at the launch, then they about held even. I couldn't see everything because I was in the chase car and well, it just couldn't hang (Cajun Jungle's 2000 v6). I guess we should have used my car as the chase vehicle.
WHen we finally got the guy to understand to go on the 3 honks, not 2....and to not catch up to traffic but to lay back...we were finally able to do a 60 roll. We just started to pull and kept pulling even after hitting 3rd. It was nice. We had another chance, but dude left on 2 honks.

Junk. Certainly not as much as the guy was claiming he ran. He was claiming low-mid 14s. Kyle runs like mid 15s I believe. They guy also claimed 238 to the ground...in a 2900 lb car he should have walked kyle like crazy. I am thinking he was a little off on his numbers somewhere. |

yea 04stang would be 15.5 or a tad slower in the quarter so he was full of something

Wow I had a noobie in a 04 Mustang silver mustang with a stalker kit on it followed me for about 15 minutes last week. I even made some offbeat turns to see if he was truely following me. I eventually came to a light and at the last second switched lanes so he would be besides me. I rolled down the window and asked him if I could help him in any way. He said a friend of his told him to watch out for a 98 laser red 3.8 that stomped his ass. He said he had been looking for me. He said he had a 3.9 that will beat a 3.8. I said REALLY Where do you want to go. He said at the next light we will run. I told him screw that. I told him to follow me to a place if he did not mind a 8 min ride. I took him to the closed runway. Once there he said he had 40 more HP than me. I said that would be great if I was stock. He said "exhaust does not add much" and I said your right, I have thing to do lets get this over with. Well I raped his ass from the start putting 6 or more car lengths from the start and what seemed like 100 yards when I shut down. I stopped and waited for him. I asked him did he want to go again and he said "Yeah when I get my supercharger" MUHAHAHHAHAHA We talked for about 5 or 10 min. He was OK just naive about mods. He actually thought I was stock besides my exhaust. I did ask him what kind of car his friend drives that I stomped. He said a Green/Blue Honda Civic. I asked him if it was the one with a intercooler on it. He said yes but it was a fake intercooler. MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA fake intercooler!!!  I remember stomping this guys ass terribly and was wondering why with a supercharger or turbocharger the car did not put up a fight. Now I know!!!!
I cant remember his name now but I told him about ME and he should sign up.

Most I have talked to seem to surf the sites but dont join. Also most mustang owners are just not interested. They see their stang as just any old transportation and have no desire in learning more about their cars.
I will no matter what car I own be a memeber of a site dedicated to that car. The money you will save and information you get is priceless.

15.4 @ 89 in 85* weather with 30+% humidity..........everyone of my friends that ran that night ran about a second slower b/c of conditions
