I just wanted to say Hello to everyone. I just bought my first mustang. It's a 01 white v6. I love it. I put a k&n air filter on it this weekend. That did give it a little more power. Anyway personaly I think mustangs rock anyway.

Southern Kentucky. I did take a look at your pictures. very nice by the way. I wish that i could of found a different color. White just shows up to much. I am always cleaning it. A lot of my friends tell me that i am way to pickie about it. But then they say that comes along with being a girl. Girls are pickie about everything anyway. I only am when it comes to my mustang.

I do love mine. White with tented windows just looks great. But it shows every little spot of dirt too.

yeah, try a dark color, lol... also, if spots really bother you, get some microfiber towels and some Quick Detailer Spray... I have Meguiar's, and it's great. Also, nothing like a really nice wax job to keep stuff off your car. I use Meguiar's NXT on my car... and it gives it such an incredible deep shine. Plus, if it gets really dirty, I can take it to a manual car wash, and just wash the dirt off, and I don't have that "dirty haze" left on it.

Welcome to the site.
And white is way easier to keep clean than a lot of other colors. It doesn't show dust nearly as badly as darker colors. Not to mention the fact that you can barely even see water spots on it.

yeah, because light colors show water spots and dust just like dark colors
you just argued not to listen to me, and then go on to say stuff right along the same lines. But you're right... I'm the tool.

I had looked at a laser red before I got mine. That is my favorite color. Also about the water spots. As soon as I get done washing it I dry it also. No water spots to bother with.

I think redfire and laser red are the same color but the more I look at both the more I think redfire is more vibrant... it could be simply due to people letting their paint fade~

Water spots own Dark Shadow Grey hard core. It's really sad. Dust takes a while longer to show however.
As far as those instant detailers go, I don't know that I would try them. I have no proof, but it seems to me that when you apply it, you will get overspray. Whatever doesn't get wiped up builds a film over particles and seals them in causing more paint damage. Don't know if it's true or not, but I just wash it once or twice a week to be safe.

I don't use it for every spot... just like if there's poop or something.

I will not talk about what I use on my paint as people jump off the wall to tell me its POS regardless of the fact that my car looks better and is in better shape than theirs. In between though I do use Meguiars spray detailer simply because I like it better than distilled water. I also do not spray it on the car, I spray it on a rag first to prevent overlap. I also overlap my areas 10% or so to ensure I dont miss any. I can clean my car in the dark and have it look better than most in the daylight.

I really would like for you to tell me what it is you use. What i use is good. But then about 5 seconds later flies are all over it. And well that really p..off. Also about your car looking good. Mine has never been in the rain or snow ever. I bought it off the org. owner. Which was an older lady. It is in great shape. It doesn't even have hundred thousand on it.

Its very hard to describe the condition my 01 black v6 was in. Only those that witnessed it in person understood lol. If you use good stuff it doesnt really matter. Most neglect the window trim and headlights/tail lights... how many people do you see with these faded out.. most dont ever do anything but wash em with soap~

I agree with Spec. "The Car Wash Which Shall Not Be Named" is awesome. People shouldn't knock until they've tried it.

I'll have to take y'all's word for it on "The Car Wash Which Shall Not Be Named". I won't argue the cleanity of Spec's car. If I had some of the stuff, I'd probably try it. Without trying it, however...I won't go buy it.
