dunno on what springs i want as of right now, not a big drop about .75 inch or 1 inch.

That was my plans at the beginning of summer. I got the xcal then decided to do wheels instead lol.

So does this mean you won't be getting rid of the car in november as planned? Or are you still getting rid of it but are going to mod it before trading it in? |

new car comes in a year or 2... my dad wants me to get the most out of car, so ill add some mods to it 8)

You know you won't get your money back for the mods right? Not to be a stinker, but if the car is going, it doesn't make sense to mod it unless you plan to replace it with something you can use your mods on....which an RX8 is not one. |

I believe Xcals are vin locked. At least the older hand helds would vin lock. So I don't think you'll be getting an used one.

I bought mine used. You can buy them used if they are "un-married" from the originator's car. This makes it just like new. If it is still married, you can either send it away to someone like VMP and have it flashed clean....or if you are like us, bring it to a local shop and he can wipe it out for you.  |

It is. I remember when I turned 16, my parents bought me a 1988 Escort Pony with a 1.8L 4 cylinder. They spent freakin' $600 on it too. It was awesome. All my friends were jealous.
Of course, they didn't buy anything for me for graduation... but after spending $600 on the Escort, who could really expect them to? $600 was a lot of money back then (almost like $650 today!!!).

yea well my bro is a failure and never graduated college, so when i do and get my diploma, i get nice car, my frist pos car was a 1987 civic... then my brother totaled his 240sx, so he took my car, then i got my stang.... 4 years ago lol. still love it

yea I didnt get anything for graduation either lol... WTF is that though I got more for graduating high school than I did for college.... (and I didnt get a car after HS either) college is like 100000x more important that stupid HS.
