aight guys i am building up my motor with a 5.0 stroker kit from VT they said that when the kit gets here i have to get it machined... ( bored out to fit the parts) eny way how much horse power do yall think i well have when its done ??? my car is an 03 Gt

any other mods or are you just starting out by having a better base for mods?

is the assembly forged? are you planning on power adders(nitrous/boost)?

bottom line though youll definatley have more throttle response, more torque down low. itll be like a 5.0 that can breathe past 4.5K

as of right it has a flow master cat back , cold air intake an 3.73 gears on her an yes the system is going to be forged. i have nitrous on it now an i am planing on a S/C in the future.

Make sure you get your engine built at a shop with a good reputation. I've known several people who have had shops build motors for them and they would break fast or just wouldn't work right in the first place. I guess they would take them to shops that don't have as good a reputation as others because they were cheaper, but I don't really know, but they almost always tell me that they had a hard time getting the shops to take any responsibilty for what went wrong with their motors. Most the stories I've heard, the people say that they weren't able to get the shops to fix their motors or pay them back the money for the parts, or the money they paid them to build their motor. A shop with a good reputation should do you right though.
