+1. The only way to monitor air fuel is to have a wideband commander type device that places a bung in your mid pipe to monitor it. As stated, the WBC will run you about 400 depending on where you pick it up.
Oil pressure probably wouldn't be a bad choice so you can know whether your pressure drops. Maybe a water temp guage instead of the highly accurate C-H scale that ford provides .

I would get oil pressure and and crap, I don't know. If you don't have a power adder, there isn't really a whole lot of guages that are useful....maybe a better voltmeter...

Oil pressure and water temperature. End of story.
I think the water temperature is probably most important due to the suckiness of the stock guages. I mean, H? How hot is H?
I like to know the exact temperature that my car is running at. Especially in the '90, which was on the borderline of running too hot for a long time.

But normaly if your thermostat is working properly, there is not going to be a major difference in temps. And if it is broken, you generally would know, lol.
Unless the car does have a tendency to overheat regardless like you said on the `90...

The same could be said for oil pressure. As long as everything's working, there will be no major difference in pressure.
And if it's broken... I guarantee you that you'll know a lot quicker than you would if the car's overheating a little.
Whoops! There goes a rod!

I agree these are the 2 main gauges anyone will require.Autometer puts out a real inexpensive A/F gauge, but other than it's fancy lights,it isn't accurate.
