3.73s or 4.10

if i swap for a 4.10 is there a chance to f@ck up my axle i have an auto and i need some sort of advantage against sticks so im leaning more towards the 4.10s. also im a lil worried about running out of gear on the freeway is it that bad im not trying to get ate up by some gay civic lol

with your mods id go with 3.73's. you have more power and you can use that to your advantage to stay in a gear longer and use the power to push yourself to a higher rpm before shifting.

id recommend tranny cooler as well, autos hate heat and the 4r70 is crap enough under normal stresses, let alone supercharged and turning through those gears faster with the new rear end ratio.

autos should go wtih 4.10s due to the tranny gears are worse than manuals, going 4.10s in an auto is about like going 3.73s in a manual (nearly)

Do you do a lot of Interstate driving and very little track use I would say 3.73's but if you are a local driver and plan on being on the track a lot get 4.10's.

right now i mainly do street and track then ill get 4.10s i mean i dont forsee ever racing anyone on the highway anyway. but if i get the 4.10s will my rearend hold up

4.10s are almost a must for an automatic

Don't fear the gear dude..... otherwise you'll be kicking yourself in no time.
