how much vacume at idle

Well I just replaced my boost gauge b/c it wasn't reading boost. I replaced a autometer ultra lite gauge with a autometer C2 gauge which also reads vacume. What should my vacume be reading at, right now it sits at 17-18 at idle, is this about right?
