Engine cutting off

Sounds like either a electrical issue or the compressor is froze up.

My car misses when I turn my A/C on due to the compressor being froze up so I dont know if that alone would cause it to completely shut down.

Thanks guys I will check the compressor I havn't even popped the hood yet

It could be in need of a tune up and the compressor being frozen

any check engine light on? either way I'd check all the vacuum lines..

No check engine light on it tends to cut off when you come to a stop while driving. Its my buddies car i looked under the hood and the compressor is fine it has over 100k miles on it and looks like its never had a tune up so i told him to go get a full tune up and see if that helps. Thanks for the help

If it does it at idle i would suspect a vacuum line
