I installed 410's in my GT about a month ago and i was at work one day (ontario mazda) and i was curious... i hooked my car up to the scanner (same as a Ford scanner) i tried to recalibrate my speedo using the reprogram function... it would not let me go as high as 410's, it says the limits are 325's to 329's... so i was wondering what would happen if i changed my tire size (would it throw my ABS off or make traction control act funny). Any ideas or suggestions?

yes it would throw off your ABS workings -- I used a diablosport handheld to program mine.. that allowed me to change to 4.10 gearing..
btw how do you like the 4.10s? I never got a chance to try mine out

I love em... I was debating between the 373's and the 410's and everyone I talked to told me to go with the 410's cause if I got the 373's I would want more and just end up buyin the 410's anyways... got a good deal on em... got em from mustang tuning for $150 and spent the extra $50 on a full bearing kit... I installed em myself so that cut cost so all I have to do is calibrate my speedo.
try searching for the speedcal from brothers performance.... That will get it dead on, it just attaches to your transmissions VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and changes the resistance sent to the actual guage so it corrects it. Its like 85 bucks, but worth the money. its only about a 30 minute install.
i fixed it ... when i tried to do it at the dealership about a week ago and it quit the calibration half way through and blanked out my PCM ... so i loaded the as built data into the WDS and tried it again and when i went to recalibrate the pcm for the gears it said that there was no stored gear ratio... so i typed in 410'S and it took it ... so i was like ok and i let go through and reprogram mode and then took it out on the highway and it was right on didnt even have to change the tire size
