Depends on the size of the leak.

Your check engine light will come on. I just replaced both of mine, my car ran fine without them.

my check engine light is on, it says 02 sensors, but I have a H pipe, no cats is that why it says that, and my car is running rough

That's exactly the same set up I had. I had to smog my car in March and it cost me about $1000.00 by the time I was finished. Both of my O2 sensors were burnt up from my H pipe. I had to get it smogged fast so I ended up spending too much to replace the H pipe set up. Since then I've seen some better than stock replacements for the H pipe set up. In the Summit catalog there is an X pipe set up with cats that looks identical to the stock one I replaced for much more money, but with wider pipes and they claim to gain 12-25 horsepower. Of course this is compared to stock numbers, not to the H pipe set up. Since I replaced my H pipe I've noticed that my car is not as fast through the 4000-6500 RPM range, so be prepared for that. I'm glad I did it though, so I don't have to worry about it everytime I have to smog my car in this communist state I live in (California).

do they make special tough 02 sensors, so they won't get burnt up from the H pipe?

They shouldn't burn up from a offroad h-pipe but you will need to get MIL eliminators to plug in if you are getting rid of your cats to keep the check engine light off
