im not sure if i put this in the right section but oh well.
the problem i have is my brake pedal. i have an 02 automatic and everytime i press the brake it makes sounds. i tried spraying some wd-40 near it but it really didnt work (may be spraying the wrong spot??). its not so much as a squeeking but it sounds like air or something and a little squeeking. its getting pretty annoying.
another problem i have is with my automatic windows. on the windows, when i roll them up and/or down, i hear a really loud squeeking until i take my finger off the button.
any one know whats wrong/how to fix either of these problems? thanks guys.
check your pads they may be in need of replacment. They squeek.... it sucks but its part of it. You can spray the crap out of the brakes with some brake quiet spray and that may help it.
If the brakes need replacing do that though, by the sound of it is may be metal/metal rubbing into your rotor.
for the window it sounds like it needs a little lubricant as well. Does the noise go away once the window has stoped moving (if you keep holding the button down after the window is up it doesnt make noise?)

no like the brake sound isnt outside of the car..its the actually brake pedal in the car
and the windows..they squeek when they are moving, and stop when they arent. its not from the button or anything. how would you go about lubricating the window?
i think i know what your talking about, my 03 auto does it when i push the brake pedal fast. it sounds like air being squeezed out of a chamber, right? if thats it, then your probably just gunna have to deal with it bcuz mine hasnt changed for 3 yrs now and i have just learned to ignore it.
The windows is just the window on the actual weather stripping. You can try putting a little armor all or something similar on the stripping itself for lubrication against the window, it should solve the squeeking problem. Mine do it as well...

yea it just sounds like the weather stripping is maybe a lil on the dry side. just dont try to pay attention to it, dont get into your car n be like ok lets listen to the noise...i know its hard but after a while you wont notice it.
