I think Mitsubishi just did that with their new.. car..
Earlier today I was bored and decided to check out Mitsubishi.com and for shits and giggles went to their Japanese site. There I found.. the new style Evo IX and... it's... deformed little half aborted brother.
The Evo WAGON MR!
No, this is not a "concept" car. It's real. It's real.. ugly. The back lights remind me of a Lincoln Navigator

its not too bad... its most likely being made to cut into the subuaru wrx wagon sales...
Itd be a nice car out in the mountains or somethin if you want something quick, awd, and has some room for storage.

^^^thats exactly what it is. they do. they dont like big SUV/Trucks in japan, but they love their fully sik waggons. these things sell almost as good as their sedan counterparts. but key word there is "Japan". there is little to no market for wagons in america, as the SUV has taken over the role the wagon once played.

It might be hideous but wagons are coming back. They get better gas mileage than a tall SUV type wagon.
