I am looking for information about putting a 5.8 or 5.0 in a 99-04 mustang. I know with enough time and $$$ anything can be done. Do you know of any conversion kits or know of any one that has done this? I have a Roush 5.0 intake that i want to adapt to a 351 and would like to put it in a newer body style (just because i like the looks better). My second option is to put in a 95 Cobra.
I used to have a Roush S2 but sold it. Looking forward to getting back into another mustang.

You put it best, with enough time and money you can do it, it's gonna require alot of custom fabbing to make it all work however.

I've read that all you need is wiring harness, cpu, k-member, and exhaust, but I don't know from experiance.
I guess a 99-04 Mustang uses the same drive shaft as a SN95 with a 5.0,(94-95) but I'm not sure about this either.

would be easier to use a 94-95 then a 96+ since everything would be different. how do you plan on adapting the roush intake to fit a 351 if you go that route? Id guess you would only need a new lower.

That is my second option. Instead of a S351 it would be an R351.

And if you have never see the Roush 5.0 intake here are some examples...
That chrome one is not mine. Mine looks like the silver one. They only made 100 of these kits. So it is rare.

That is Ill.
Roush needs to make an intake manifold for a mod motor that isn't a $10,000 root supercharger.

so why is it that you need a new fuel tank, flywheel, and all that other extra shit to run that roush charger?? Do they have a kit with just the s/c so you dont have to get a new fuel tank? lol...

Well. Like i said it is the most engineered kit out there. Not the most powerful by far. The 01-04 kits have a new fuel system that has a new gas tank that has upgraded pumps and baffles installed in the tank. The flywheel is aluminum. A programmed ECU that Roush has changed 1000's of lines of code to make it a well balanced tune. New injectors. A FEAD pulley system unique to the Roush SC. If you want to take a look at all the parts included in that kit check out my website and DL the instruction guide.
Roushinator.com Useful Information
The 05-06 kits dont have the flywheel and gas tank and is around 5600. Th 07 kits wont be out for a couple of months.
