Reading Some Of The Post Im Looking At Doing A Exhaust On My 2004 V6...the Shop Told Me 390.00 To Y Pipe It And Put Flowmasters On ....but The Gt Take Off Way Looks A Little More Afforable ...if I Get One Is There Anything Else I Would Have To Get To Put It On ...like The H Pipe Or Anything Like That Or Is It Just Weld On ?
Youll have to cut the Y pipe either way, or get yourself an hpipe made for the v6. When I went with take-offs on my old car, I bought the pacesetter adapter kit: (3rd thing down here). This allows you to cut the current y pipe, put this thing on on, then attach any v8 catback to it.
not without other fabrication, youd have to cut the Y pipe anyway and weld some exhaust tubing in as a makeshift midpipe. Its not just a bolt on piece, you have to eiter get an H pipe, get that adapter, or have some custom exhaust work done.
