Hi there, I'm new to this forum, and hope someone can help. My 1966 coupe will be out of the body shop this week. Then it will be time for reassembly. Their is a special nut that attaches the bottom of the fender behind the wheel to the cowl. I ordered these special rectangular nuts, but cannot figure out how to install. Photos would be great.
Thanks Lowell
are you talking about the speed nuts? They just clip onto the cowl and you run the bolt through the hole in the fender and bolt it down to the speed nut.

Jimmy, thanks for the reply. But no I'm not talking about the J-nuts/speed nuts, which are for the bolts across the top of fender. Their is a rectangular hole in the bottom of the cowl, this is where this special nut goes. Then you run a bolt through bottom of fender into this nut. Keeping in mind this is behind the front wheel, so you can secure the bottom back portion of the front fender.
Thanks Lowell
