Im in a really messed up situation... help?

My roomates ex-girlfriend keeps hitting on me, wanting to come over and give me back rubs, wanting to go out for ice cream all the time, all this crazy crap and I dont want to be mean to her, but I need to somehow tell her to basicall fuck off, since this guys not only one of my best friends, but my roomate and I dont want to feel tension at all. This girls hot too, and if the guy wasnt my roomate Id probably go after her, but I just cant and she wont go away. Then on top of it, she talks to me about all the problems she and my roomate still have and will say things to me like "Why does he hate me so much" and other crap. I think she's crazy personally, but she just wont go away. Im not the kind of person to be an asshole to other people, so Im kinda stuck in a pickle cause I dont want my roomate thinking Im going after his ex-gf... I dunno, little help?

How long have they been ex's? My honest opinion is, if they are over, and you are interested, go for it. Ex is in front for a reason...Doesn't help much I know, but, it is an ex. Then again, I married one of my ex's best friends, so maybe I am biased.

Thing is though, I dont want a relationship with her at all... I see how shes a psycho crazy person and could only imagine that in a relationship. The point is, shes hot and always flirting with me and telling me things like "I really wanted to kiss you last night"... ITs like WTF woman... Id just kinda want to bang her and be done

That sounds like the perfect compromise...just hit it and forget it... 
Just tell your buddy that she kept hitting on you, so you hit it to get her to leave you alone in hopes that would stop her from coming over so much so that it would help ease his pain over seeing her all the time...so you took one for the team and hit it to keep it away.

That can be dangerous. If she gets attached easily, you could just be encouraging her. Depending on your skills at avoidance, you may be able to let it fade afterwards...

I know I shouldnt do anything, but then that whole guy brain thing comes into play and when I drink, I see her out a lot... and that could be bad.

According to the beer commercials, it is a man law that you only have to wait 6 months before doing your buddy's girl. If it hasn't been 6 months, tell her to go away. But if you really want to hit it, be discreet. Hell I had two different friends hit two of my ex's and we're still friends. I was pissed for a little bit, but I got over it. And they were both psycho chicks.
