id do that too, though only if i had a new set of rims/tires in my garage, and id set the limiter to 4500rpm and just roast them off, and if i had a line-lok.

so i dont kill my rear brakes trying to keep the car in one spot/moving slowly. i did one brake-stand and now i have that wierd ass moan coming from the rear under take-offs, it temporarily was fixed by turning the rotors but 1000mi later its back again.

btw whats a good clutch for mildly modded setups(like 500hp/500tq)? does McLoed make clutches for us, since ive only heard great things about them on GT's.
mine you can kinda smell clutch after long drives, like the amount to where if you didnt know what burnt clutch smells like you wouldnt notice it, and while it holds fine in all gears, at 50k im sure its seen better days. i kinda want to do that and that cooling mod that you can only do with the tranny out at the same time.

The SPEC Stage 3+ is a great one I am hearing. I have felt one in a 05 GT and it felt tits. I have the regular SPEC 3 with a steel flywheel and it has held just fine...it just chatters if I get lazy and don't give it the right gas when I get moving. The clutch pedal feel is about 50% lighter than stock on the 3 and probably 65% lighter on the 3+.
There is a Exeddy setup from runningwiththedevil.com that is pretty pricy (~$1600 for the twin disc setup and like $1400 for the single disc) that people are saying is just perfect. Light and holds a ton of punishment. Others are also saying the ram powergrip is the perfect clutch. It is really a crap shoot. I was going to go Centerrforce DFX, but a number of guys have been blowing them up lately...it seems like a bad batch or something went out because they were being loved everywhere, now everyone is blowing them up.
