About a week ago, my mom decided to call you guys to have you come out and install Digital Phone service to our house. She called on Friday to confirm you guys were coming on Saturday, but you guys never showed up.
Suddenly, on Wednesday night we get a call from a computer saying you guys are going to come out on Thursday from between 10AM-7PM to install the digital phone service. My mom is a bit confused, but has someone stay at the house all day to make sure that when someone from Time Warner arrives, someone will be there to let them in and such.
Hours go by and finally someone arrives 10 minutes till 7PM and installs the Digital Phone Service within an hour and a half. With the work complete he calls into headquarters to tell them he's done and someone on the other line explains to him that the appointment made on Saturday had been cancelled.
So as the tech tells my parents this, he uninstalls everything and leaves. From what we can tell, whoever my mom talked to on last Friday about confirming the installation on Saturday, thought she was cancelling the appointment.
Now, my parents are both extremely upset over the wasted time, and the incompetence over the service. This really disappoints us because we had Time Warner come out and install our Digital Cable, and our Cable modem and recieved more than wonderful service. I'm trying to talk my parents out of cancelling the Cable subscription with you guys over the service they had, so I hope you'll do something to make it up for them.
