Hey I drove a Z-28 and at one time had a semi mullet but that was before every trailer park hero had a mullet and drove a primer grey camaro. In the 70's and early 80's it was Mustangs that were laughed at. There were DUI's back then but we did not have the MADD group campaigning to have the book thrown at people. Some places were tougher than others like it is today. with the advent of camera's in cars they just can let you go anymore. I also believe there were times I should have been pulled over. I am not quite understanding where this is going though??? I did dumb stuff and I am not particularly proud of it either. Today some people are pround of the dumbshit they do!!!
There have always been tards, The difference is the amount of tards and how many tard millionaires there are now. People in the 60's would not have watched the crap today and after a million complaints to the networks would have pulled a show. Now though we have satellite TV and digital cable with hundreds of channels and today everyone has a channel even the tards.
I personally think you are not a moron or a tard. You as most are a victim of Peer Pressure which tells you that Jackass is Cool and the laughing at the misery of others is acceptable.

No I really dont like watching people's misery. I have watched America's funniest videos and laughed and have seen blurps of Jackass and other shows like it and I did not find them funny, but I can see why some do. What I mean by peer pressure is one guy says "Man have you seen the new Jackass movie", The other guys says "No" The first guys says " Man you have to go see it. It is the Bomb" The second guy wanting to be cool says "Yeah I need to see it"
We are all at time under the influence of peer pressure even me!!!! Nobody wants to feel left out!!!

The problem with that is you have to ask how much they received to say it was good. Critics really have no ability to rate movies anymore. Usually if they say a movie sucks, I go see it because it is probably a good one. Vice versa is also true, if they get a chubby thinking about the movie, I will usually pass on it because it probably sucks.
As for jackass...case in point. I know I would hate this movie because I think the members of jackass, wild boys, and vive la bam are all anomolies in the darwin theory. I look forward to the day when they finally succumb to the odds and remove themselves from the gene pool...which they may have already done with the amount of times they hit each other in the nuts, shock their nuts, etc.
None the less, I am sure this movie sucks...however I know there are a lot of people out there that will find it the greatest thing ever released since jackass 1. Different strokes......

well they have some intresting reasonings on why they gave it a thumbs up and not willingly cause they even said it was stupid. they have a minute or so clip of them discussing it. I thought it was funny on what they said really

lol awsome, I just listened to the review from Ebert and Roeper on their site. They are coming up with so much credit for the movie on creativity and such. Hell who cares, it's funny stuff. Hard to believe Ebert gave it a thumbs up on the first movie too lol just too funny.
Too bad you guys don't live near me, I wanna go see it again.

if hes "wanting" to be cool i doubt hes gonna spend 9 bucks to see something he has no interest in. i dont know, but maybe im different, if i dont want to do something or have no need for it, i tell my friends straight up. you still live in a time where one buddy said "here smoke this" and you believed you would get picked on so you smoked it. that time is over, there is no longer peer pressure to do anything you dont want to do. drugs/alcohol/smoking especially, if youre with buddies and someone pulls out a blunt and they say "ok your turn, and you pass it down, they will just say "sweet, more for me!"

Even though there were a lot of people who wanted to see the movie, I didn't see it.
Hell, I didn't even see Spiderman in theatres, or even the sequel and if you want people telling everyone about what an awsome movie it'd be, that would be one of the movies.
I watch movies that interest me, I don't care how many ads get thrown in my face.
You take people my age too likely.
