yes the rear caliper pistons need to be screwed back in, not pressed in with a C-clamp like 95% of every other car on the road. i learnt the hard way thinking BOTH my rears were seized and got a new set, and since they were already pressed, thinking i was correct, only to come here and talk of my bad luck only to find out im dumb'r than i though i is.
you can probably rent the tool or might as well just buy it, chances are one day youre gonna need the tool again, and itll likely pay for itself in two uses as opposed to renting it twice.
