Gettin Nitrous...

So I was wonderin. The only mods I have on this pony right now are K&N Filter with stock intake housing and ill be ordering my SCT XCAL 2 next week. Ill tell them to include a 75 shot 93+ octane tune on there. The only thing I was wondering was if my stock exhaust is big enough to efficently get that burnt gas out of there.

first I would only use the tune if it was from a REAL dyno tunner (didnt see who it was from) and I would make SURE (dyno with wideband) that my a/f and other things were in line (unless you dont mind running the risk of a motor rebuild) Its very cheap to do a dual exhaust upgrade, I think it will be fine but it couldnt hurt.

Ya, well I dont have a problem doing the exhaust, if its a better idea to do it first then im all for it. The XCAL 2 is from Mustangtuning.com now known as Americanmuscle.com thanks to Ford. but im pretty sure its a reliable place to get it from. and if its not then I know VMP Tuning is the place to be. haha.

you know i never thought bout if it would make a differ to have dual exhuast with a nitrous setup. id just get the duals first hell its a nice upgrade for sure

and def def 100% get tuned by a TUNER in person seriously not every car reacts the same to a nitrous setup

i went with a flipchip i have no clue whether thats what your getting or what but i got tuned nicely N/A and even nicer with the nitrous.

id get a wideband o2 sensor and gauge if i were to just run nitrous on a mail-order tune.

hell id get one anyways, nitrous is very tempermental, and any change in the outside atmosphere can drasitcally change the way it reacts, whats rich one day could become lean another if the outside air gets to dense(cold). or if its too hot you might get alot of predetonation. too many variables to not want to know exactly what the results of spraying were in realtime.
