If they are the same brand go with ebay. Ebay usually has the best deals. Just set a limit on how high you will bid and dont go above it. Like for CAI don't go above like $100 for it. Ebay is a great place for used parts. Also look around mustang forums. Go to 3.8mustang.com and look in the classifieds and also check out v6power.net. Someone is bound to be selling one for cheaper than brand new and they are still in good shape.

I've shopped around for both my intakes and gotten really good deals, as in ~60 bucks a piece for K&N FIPK II systems. I'm on my second one of those (don't ask) and love them.

Speaking of CAI on ebay... why are they so cheap? I started looking yesterday and I saw them, brand spanking new, for less than $30.

The ones I saw looked like they belonged on a Honda but they are for our cars. But if they do what they are supposed to do and aren't pretty, I'm fine with that. Form follows function.

If you buy a CAI off ebay, make sure you're buying from a seller with a very high positive feedback, and one who has sold lots of CAI's. I've heard where some ebay CAI's don't come with all the parts needed for the install. I was lucky with mine. They aren't pretty, but they do the job. I'm upgrading to a nicer looking one next year (non-ebay) before car show season to help dress up the engine bay. The ebay CAI just doesn't look that nice under the hood.

I just meant that they looked alright to me. As long as they come with everything I need, and they do the job I need them to, $30 ain't bad. But if you have any other suggestions, I'm willing to listen.
