Friends and I were bored so we went up to the local hangout to go find soe races. We have a 1/4 miles marked off in reflective tape up the street so we just go there around 12 and bullshit around.
My friend has a bone stock Grand Prix GT that wanted to run me. (He ran a best of 15.3@87 at the track). We went from a stop and he took off while I sat and spun for about 15 feet. As soon as I hooked I got up to his door and then pulled a car length in second and at the middle of third gear I had 2 cars and shut down. I was impressed though that his car hung that well.
Next race was a 98 V6 Mustang 5 speed with intake, exhaust and a lot of neon lights We went from a slow roll and I out 2.5 cars on him the first half of the run and he pulled up to my rear bumper around 70mph where my 4.10's start to drop off. Shut her down around 90 with him 1.5 cars back.
The next race killed my confidence level lol. My friend brought his Mom's 5.9L Jeep Chrokee AWD. little did I know these damn things pull 1.8 60' times (345lb ft off idle). and dead hook off the line. We went from a stop and as soon as we took off I spun my ass off and he just chirped and took off and had about 3 cars on me till 65mph where I started to gain and he put the brakes on before i caught up.

i HIGHLY doubt the Gt grand prix ran a 15.3 stock.... they are 16 + cars lol and if it was comparable to the 98 manual mustang as by how much you beat both... then once again taht backs up the fact that the GT doesnt run that fast, cuz a 98 manual stang with a couple bolt ons is like 15.9-16.3 territory.

Yeah, I doubt that guy ran 15.3 in a bone stock GP GT. Who knows, maybe he has a “factory freak”. BTW, a stock Grand Prix GT can run anywhere from 15.7-16.0.

hell no was this on the juice lol. None of those cars are even close when i spray. This was just playing around on the motor for fun.
And yes the GP GT is bone stock, full interior etc etc. I am not going to argue over it just because it is faster than a few of your guys stangs I gain nothing from lying about it so why would I bother?
There were guys from easternfbody.com and fordpower.net there and saw his car run if you want to have any proof from others.

If your friend ran 15.3, cool. Does he have a timeslip? Is he a member at ClubGP?
I know GP GTs are faster than most people give them credit for, but a 15.3 is very rare in a bone stock GP GT. The conditions must have been perfect and your friend has skills on the track. Did he do any track prep?

haha Zim don't worry that was no bottle. the kit is in a box for you waiting to go on a certain white 95
He is not a member of clubgp but i should tell him. There was no track prep on the car and he left 41psi in his tires to go for a good 1/4 mph. Conditions were 60 degrees with 66 humidity and a 30.3 barometer. Track Prep was pretty good and his car dead hooked. the cars previous best before the trip to the track last week was a 15.5. He's a pretty decent driver at the track as we go at least 2-3 times a month for the past 2 years and he used to have a camaro he raced all the time.
