Opinions on shifters

Next mod for me is a shifter. Probably either MGW or Steeda Tri-ax. Opinions and/or comments appreciated.

i have the Tri-Ax in the GT and the MGW in the cobra. both are very nice. i cant compare the two because they are on different cars, but whatever you choose, its better than stock.

i like the MGW one because it has the adjustable upper arm.

The Tri-Ax has stiffer springs, so the 2-3 shift is a little more effortless. But, I like the MGW a little better, because it just feels a slightly more comfortable.

the steeda is a bit harder to reach for normaly daily driving and it is stiffer, it also makes FAR more noise (you can hear it transfered from the transmission much easier) you can buy a shifter gasket that helps but its still there.

I have owned a B&M, Steeda Tri-ax and an MGW and the MGW is by far the best. Best position, smooth shifting, and NO noise.

I have the Steeda Tri-ax and wish I had gotten the MGW Spector is right about the reach

I had hear very good thinks about MGW shifters, but have never felt how they feel. I have a Pro 5.0 and like it very much.
