what should i get?

my dad has a 2001 mustang gt 4.6 liter.... what would be the best thing to get him for xmas??? im only 16 and i dont have a job so it can't be that expensive... maybe 200 tops.... what should i get for him?? cold air intake? or wut?

intake if your on that type of budget...........maybe a smaller crank pulley..........full exhaust and tuners are gonna run brand new ~400

get him gears...he can get them installed his self....GEARS ALL THE WAY...after he gets them put in he will love them and thank you over and over...and over...

id say gears or a catless H/X pipe(since youre in maine). cant do much under 200$. maybe some underdrives or an intake. you can get a tb/plenum combo used for that much if you look hard enough.
you could get 100$ in car care shit and detail the car for him.

full length subframe connectors for around $120 and possibly $80-100 for install. it's not a horsepower mod but it helps get the power to the wheels.

i thought subframes just help stiffen up the chassis for handling purposes and convertibles

That's all they do. It just reduces body flex, which can be beneficial if you have a torque monster, but even on a stock car they do make the car feel better. Subframes though are like exhaust piping. I don't see a point in buying a set of name brand steel bars. Any good speed shop should be able to fab them AND weld them up in no time for a lot less than paying for a name set and THEN paying for the install on top of that.

I have steeda midlength monochromy subframes, put them on before doing any other suspension, and I must say, it made a big difference.
