Check it out I have not got around to doing it yet but its good for the 05's cause they have heated throttle bodies. I did not find this out some else did by the way. Geat write up by John too.

Like others have been saying, I want to see some dyno improvements before I'd do anything like that on the car. No need to do a worthless mod that may end up messing something up.

I highly doubt it cause the 06 & 07's come bypassed I believe. Plus its not all about gain really its about temp of the throttle bodie. Did you see the temp diff in Johns write up.

i see the bypass in the pics but he doesnt say what he does once he removed the hose's that are connected to the TB Does he Leave the Inlets/Outlets on the TB Exposed Or Are they Capped Off Or what Exactly did he do Were the Hose's Were Connected to The TB This would Be Good INformation Because its a Option i Might Think if Mine is Not already ByPassed Since mine is a 06 Mustang V6

I think the o6's and 07's are already bypassed. I believe he capped them off cause he does car shows alot. YOu can leave them exposed. I did. This mod is great once the car warms up a bit. It just keeps pulling. Even when Im not in boost range!!

Yea Mine is already bypassed went to check on it but its a good mod for the 05 owners because ive taken my car to las vegas which is a 3 hr drive from were im at and once i got there my car still had the same amount of Power as if it were cold =) so it does help alot having it bypassed

Yea the 05's don't pull as hard once they are warmed up.

from a 05 to a 06 what is the difference if any besides a few motor tweeks? ive trying to find someone i knew who owned a 05 or get to know someone who does own a 05 to try and cross reference my 06 to his 05 and see what ford did differently? i mean they have the same hp and tq and body style didnt change? so whats the difference lol

As for every little tweek, I have not a clue what the diffs are. Its nothing big but its nothing to looked over especially if your NA. You want every little pony!! I do and Im FI'd lol.

The temp of the TB is the difference for this mod. The air passes throught the TB right before it gos into the engine, air temp makes a diff. It won't not show on a dyno, meybe a 1hp is so and Fords not going to claim 215hp for the new 06. 07's Its just something that they found was not needed and the car benifits from it at the same time.

Its similar to an intercooler. U put a supercharger on it will make FI but a supercharger/turbo gets hot. In other words SC and TC's produce hot air. After the it produces the boost/hot air you put an intercooler in place before it makes its way to the throttle so its back to a good temp before it enters the engine. Thats why they say there is no point to going FI if you dont' have a intercooler.

Think about it... why would you want your throttle bodie heated?? Even if you are NA. Its going to heat the air before it enters the engine slightly. If you reduce the TB heat by obviously bypassing the it then the air is not at such a hot temp. The TB is heated just with the car running lol Remember I live in AZ, there is no point to it what so ever and obviously there is no point to it anywhere cause they bypassed on the 06, 07 too.

A Hot Body

Top of the TB was about 160ish and the bottom was about 180ish. After the bypass the top was 93!! and the bottom 130ish!! Thas a good temp diff.

exactly and unless we live in the north pole or alaska then heating the TB would make some sense because to cold may lag up so heating it up would help but in the U.S especially the north western area theres no need to have it heated because we dont get nearly as cold so its a great bypass for the 05's and im glad ford finally bought a brain and didnt do it to the 06 and 07's
