Hey guys. I'm in need of some assitance. I have an '02 GT that I'm putting the finishing touches on the body to make it look like an '03 Cobra. The problem is I'm still running a stock motor and not sure which direction to go in to duplicate the power the Cobra makes. I want to know how should I go about modifying my engine to reach Cobra numbers?

A procharger will probably get you around the stock Cobra #'s.

A stock 03/04 cobra puts down 360rwhp/tq~ and runs high 12s stock (traction for the lose). That should be your goal if you are going towards a stock cobra. With a pulley,cai, and tune (modest psi) they can push 450-480rwhp/tq.

Stock your car has 230rwhp/260tq~ or around that so a supercharger should put you right about there.

a procharger and a good head/cam combo will put you in good graces.

on a stock motor I would stay away from a roots blower as it puts much more stress on the engine. Look into Vortech or Procharger~
