The V6 doesn't have T-loc limited slip only. You can get a GT take off pretty cheap for the 8.8 rear end.
The TCS can be simply pushed off by pushing the button and making the light come on or go off.

All i know is Its impressive that its not a one wheeler peeler like the SN95 v6's.
I love my v6 so much that Im thinking about giving the v6 to my fiance and maybe getting the GT. Theyre letting the 06's go for a reasonable price now that the 07's have arrived.

TCS on or off, they are definite one wheel peelers, sorry to burst your bubble man. GT trac locks won't fit either, ours is a 7.5" rear end.

Trust me.. once the rain eases up I'll show you an after shot of it... ;-) Hey, its a good excuse to wear some rubber off of $300 tires

they have had one wheel peal since 1994, you can tell if you jack up your car and turn one of the rear tires if the other tires goes in the opp. direction its got an open diff aka one wheel peal.

Im aware of the principles of an open planetary gear differential lol
7.5" rear? wow thats smaller than my MN12 Thunderbird...
I was getting my Stang serviced and eyed a Legend Lime 06 theyre trying to sell. Marked down to 24,900 and Im sure they'd come down some more. Its an autmatic tho... Either way the new auto GT's are pretty impressive.

I had a 99 GT convertable before I got this car, and well, a Dodge truck in between there too. I loved it, but I am diabetic, my sugar dropped and I almost killed myself, I blacked out, lost control and flipped her over, totaled her and messed up my back pretty well, wish I had gotten that functional roll bar I had intended to, I might be in a lot better shape now. Anyhow, after that happened, I didn't feel the need for speed as much, and definitely wanted a metal roof over me.

The 05s and up V6s come with an open diff. Its odd that u say it came from the dealership like that, was it used? I want to see u burn out on video if possible. I don't believe it lol. Pony package has nothing to do with with open and closed diff's its just suspension and a few others things. Technically a V6 doesn't need a tlok. Yes it would be nice if they just threw one in for us but it don't need it.

I asked them to throw me a number on how well they could work with me. Legend Lime Deluxe GT, auto, with leather. I guess if anyone wants it its at Ted Britt Ford and he wants 23,900 for it or at least that was the low ball offer to me. Needless to say I drove my 07 V6 5 speed back home =)
4.0 doesnt need both tires? lol Im not sure about you but pop the clutch anywhere above 1000rpms and you'll wish you did. My car drifts too easily to only be snatching one wheel.... And NO Im not telling you how I know this.. It just involves my stang, me, a GMU parking lot, and a few rather impressed ricers =)

I slide sideways MUCH more with a tlok than I did with an open diff. Be glad you didnt get the GT Legend Lime is a horrible color.

You can make an auto just as fast as manual with these 4.0L's. You can get a tuner and change your shift points/rev limiter and firm them up. After that you'll be able to take every gear to redline just like a manual. I kinda agree though, mustangs should be manuals no matter what. LOL Don't cancel out the autos though. The buick Centry feel they give when driven home off the lot can be fixed.
Legend Lime is a beautiful color also in my opinion. That was my first choice next to the Windevil Blue.

Dump the clutch at 1000, Try dumping at 2500 - 3000 NA let alone with boost and see what happens. Just wait till you get blown. You think your car gos to the side now lol

There is a company that sells new GT rear ends, with tlock of course on ebay for like 500 bucks, you have to install brakes on it is all.
