Ok I have a customer come in the other day with a 240SX a 93 with a KA24DE,looking to add boost, fretting about the cost of turboing it so i tell him the best options a SR or RB swap.No just tired of getting passed by mini vans I ask do you have a auto or manual?manual he replys I wonder whats wrong with his skinny pedal foot,I used to own and 240SX and while I drove my KA harded than most I never got passed by a mini van even once out ran a police interceptor crown vic up Hwy 111.
So my buddy in Miss has gotten his hands on a 240 a few months back needs a new cam or so the story goes, decides he likes his SER's more and goes on the selling of his 240 so far three or more buyers and nobody will get serious whats up with that hes even willing to get it to TN well I was talking things over with my wife and she always missed that 240 I had and I made and offer well now its mine and I'm going to head to Miss friday and load it up on the trailer and let my Super Duty strech its legs so to speak and see how well the TorqShift holds up on long hauls. So now I'm back into looking a SR motors and RB's looking a SR20DET Performance - JGYCustoms - DET, SR20DET, SE-R, Nissan, Sentra, G20, NX, 240SX, SPEC-V, Turbo, Transmission, Fuel Rail, High Performance. and see a stang a Fox with a RB in it,I thinking someone whatched to much Toyko Drift. But I'm going back with the plans of my first SX Sil Eight style but cant decide on a Red Top or Black Top friends have both and I like them equally as well.Since I wont be driving my stang anytime soon I need a FR car than can daily drive and not cost to much on fuel since I figure after the elections fuel prices will rise.Sorry way off topic and not mustang news but to be honest I really do enjoy the layout of the interior and feel of the car plus insurance will be free.

One of my friends just put his 260 turbo straight 6 from his 79 260 into a 240sx body. Shoe horned the thing in there, but it's putting alot of power down. He has a t3/t4 turbo, few other goodies, just needs tires and suspension to put this stuff down. He raced your basic fox last weekend (cam/bolt-ons/nitrous off) and it was dead even from a roll, he pulled the fox from a stop.

Yeah lack of sleep can do that to you.Today I start breaking into the other KA24 I got in Adkins,Va and see how bad it looks and what all needs to be done to it in order to get it running again.

i've owned two 240's and both did sr20det swaps on em. The second one i even got into the 12's. Pimp cars i wanna get my hands on another one but i wouldnt beable to afford the swap again. ka24's are a good motor too. I got some good cash when I sold that motor too, helped pay for the motor n trans off osaka motors.

Damnit man, you beat me to it. I'd love to have one of their RX7 conversions.
